We had a wonderful time in Italy.  We visited Venice, Naples, Sorrento, and Rome for 10 day trip with me and my wife.  We were a little nervous being in another country, but we were glad that we were able to contact our travel agent 24/7 if we needed to.  We were picked up at the airport and train stations and taken to our our hotels.  Our personal drivers were on time every time. They made sure we were on the right train and where we needed to be.   Everything went very smoothly.  We did have 5 tours scheduled but the one in Venice was canceled but at no fault of the company.  The other 4 tours were great. One group tour to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, one small group boat tour to Capri island and 2 private tours to Colosseum and Vatican in Rome.  Our tour guides were outstanding.  Very personable. Spoke good English and took great care that we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.   We stayed in 3 different hotels on our trip and everyone of them was top notch.  Especially our hotel in Sorrento with the ocean views on the hillside was fantastic.

Kate at the travel agency was very helpful in helping us plan our trip to NZ.  She listened carefully to our requests and concerns and responded with new ideas when necessary.  She was especially helpful when we had to change a few days of the trip due to the cyclone that hit the North Island.

My husband and I went on a wonderful trip to New Zealand - North and South Island - that was actually planned for 2021 but could not go until this year. I like to work with an agent and Lindsay from our travel agency was extremely responsive offering helpful options and suggestions. Even though the time we spent on the North Island was right after the torrential rains, we modified the itinerary to spend 4 days in the Taupo area and 2 days in Rotorua. We hiked in the Tongariro National Park and part of the Great Lake Pathway, sailed to view the Maori Rock Carvings and visited Orakei Korako geothermal pools and Huka Falls in the Lake Taupo area. In Rotorua, we relaxed in the mineral pools of the spa and enjoyed the indigenous Maori experience at Te Puia. The next 12 days were spent on the South Island where we had sunny and warm weather! One of our favorite places was Abel Tasman Park where we went Kayaking and hiked on the beautiful Coast Trek. We continued our adventures on a memorable heli-hiking experience on the Tasman Glacier in the Mt. Cook region, followed by visiting the unique blue penguins and Royal Albatrosses on the Otago Peninsula and a hike and cruise on the famous Milford Sound in Fjordland National Park. We ended our journey with 3 days in Lake Wanaka area where we kayaked, hiked, and went to some of the region's famous wineries.

The trip was great! I loved working with Rick to put together our itinerary. When I didn’t listen to him I wish I had. He felt that since I was not a Lord of the Rings fan there was no point in going to Hobbiton. He was right. It was disappointing. He said since we were going to see glow worms in the South Island there was no point in going to see them in the North island. He was right. He talked us into going whale watching despite the fact that I had been disappointed in the past. I went and it was exactly what he said it would be. Before we left he put together a 2 1/2 hour presentation over Webex with us. That was completely unexpected and useful during the trip. When it looked like we weren’t going to make it to Picton he worked with us to be sure the boat would meet us. He even gave us his personal cell number if we ran into problems, because he wasn’t going to be in the office when we might have a problem going to Picton.I would highly recommend Rick to anyone traveling to New Zealand.

We loved our NZ/Australia travel specialist! Our original trip in March 2020 was delayed bc of Covid. Jo kept us updated and then rescheduled our trip. Her suggestions about what to see and do fit in perfectly with what we wanted out of our trip.  Taking the trip and all we saw and did, was even better than what the terrific itinerary showed.  Just a truly awesome trip in every respect!

Marie Lys at the travel agency worked with my husband and me to put together the perfect trip to Tahiti. We have been dreaming about a trip to Tahiti for many years and were finally ready to go. Marie Lys was very helpful in talking with us about our interests and specific activities we wanted to include. She proposed a great itinerary which we adjusted a bit with her assistance. Marie worked closely with us during the planning phase of the trip but also was in touch with us during the trip. She checked in multiple times in regarding how the trip was going and clarified certain connections to be sure everything went smoothly. I also had quick access to her via WhatsApp which was reassuring should I need her assistance. The trip went off without a hitch, including ferry and plane travel to several islands. The various lodging options we visited were great and the excursions were top notch. We would definitely use this travel company again in future travels.

Working with Jo felt like working with family. My husband and I wanted to help my father's dream of traveling to Bora Bora come true, and with Jo's help, it not only came true but was far more magical than we could have ever dreamt of organizing ourselves! Jo always demonstrated such patience when working with my father's many special requests, and she showed so much compassion for him (and us) as we planned the trip. We stayed in fantastic hotels that Jo recommended, and the expectations she created for each place we visited were spot on. We were so impressed with how smoothly everything flowed because of her planning that we are now working with her again to plan our next adventure!

This was our first trip with Zicasso! We sent in our inquiry for a trip to Tahiti/Bora Bora on a Friday afternoon. A travel designer from the travel company contacted us the same day and worked with us throughout the weekend. By Monday afternoon we had a finalized itinerary!

Planning the trip was easy. The travel designer had first hand knowledge of both places we wanted to go to and kept to our budget while helping us plan a great trip. Our trip ended up being ten days total with five nights in Bora Bora and four in Tahiti. Due to Covid restrictions and lockdowns on the islands, we ended up postponing our trip. She was very helpful in getting everything rescheduled for our new dates. During the trip, she checked in and when two of our activities were canceled due to the weather she was in contact and helped us reschedule or get a refund.

In Bora Bora, we stayed in an overwater bungalow and the views were incredible. We were able to jump directly into the ocean and snorkel around our balcony. We enjoyed a helicopter ride over Bora Bora as an introduction to the island - it was breathtaking to see the beautiful water and land from above. We did a 4x4 land tour to learn more about the history and culture of the island and the people. The lagoon tour to swim with sharks, rays, eels and many fish in the coral gardens was an amazing snorkeling experience. The jet ski tour was fun to see the water color change up close and explore around the island.

In Tahiti we had a car so we explored the island at our own pace and visited many places along the way - waterfalls, took an impromptu hike in the water gardens and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We ended our trip with a whale watching tour, we saw a mother and baby whale from a distance on our boat. As a bonus we saw spinner dolphins leaping from the water and a sea turtle. What a great way to end the trip! Overall we enjoyed working with the travel designer and would recommend others to plan a trip with her -  Bora Bora/Tahiti are true paradises everyone should see! Zicasso made planning our dream vacation easy, we look forward to using them again for our next vacation.

We had the most wonderful 15 days in French Polynesia that I could’ve hoped for! Rick was so helpful in getting us prepared for knowing what to expect across our many islands and excursions.  The trip was set up to let us experience a wide variety of things from cultural, historical, water and land excursions.  The recommendations for the types of accommodations in the locations were spot on!there was a small service worker strike that had the potential to impact our transitions through the islands and I return home. I reached out to Rick over the weekend as soon as I learned about it. He was so responsive, and very helpful.

Our trip to Australia, New Zealand, and Bora Bora was fantastic! It had everything we wanted plus more. All of the arrangements were great and there were a lots of flights and transfers. Our trip planner was available when one of our tours was cancelled due to bad weather. We were re-scheduled for another tour and were immediately reimbursed for the trip that was cancelled. Our planner had really listened to what we wanted and coordinated a trip that was totally awesome!

Our travel specialist from the travel company arranged for our trip to moorea and bora bora in sept 2019.   everything was handled efficiently, promptly, and no question was left unanswered.   i am somewhat of a worrier, and our travel specialist never hesitated to put my mind to rest regarding any concerns.   we flew to tahiti from lax business class. i highly recommend it.   we were given access to their vip lounge in lax, which was very comfortable, before our overnight flight.   upon boarding, we were given a travel kit with all the amenities needed including a sleep mask and earplugs.  you have a ”pod” all to yourself with a monitor for movies, games, music and a nice pair of headphones.   the seats go completely flat and you have a comfy pillow and large blanket/sleep bag.   we boarded at midnight, got comfy and woke about 7 hours later to a gentle voice informing us breakfast would be served in about 15 minutes.  perfect.  same routine on our overnight flight from papeete to lax home.  we went to moorea first and stayed at the hotel  while moorea is a beautiful place, and the setting for the hotel ideal, we found the hotel a bit run down.  we had an overwater bungalow, but the roof was covered in tacky tarps in places where the thatch was missing.  we arrived very early in the morning and were told check in was 2 pm.  what to do for 6 hours? we had breakfast, walked along the beach, pool, etc and at 230, still no room.  frustrating.  we saw people arriving and being taken directly to rooms, but yet we waited.  checked 2 or 3x and still nothing.   at 3, we were finally given our bungalow.  food was okay but redundant in all restaurants.  take advantage of the 2 for 1 happy hour!   we kayaked, took an atv tour (recommend it) and sunset cruise (just ok).  they did give you 2 coke’s 2 diet cokes, 2 beers and a large water complimentary in your fridge everyday.  that was nice.    the absolute worst thing was that directly across the bay from our bungalow was a pier.   8-10 children from a private residence next to hotel played on this pier everyday.   i have nothing against children, but from morning to sunset, they jumped from, played, ran on this pier screaming, squealing, yelling non stop.   the noise was amplified by the water and made relaxing on your patio or private dock nerve wracking.   terrible.  onto bora bora.    we stayed at the hotel  there are not enough adjectives to describe this place.   paradise.    night/day to the other hotel in Moorea.   upon arrival, given a tour of 44 acre resort via golf cart.  our overwater bungalow was huge and magnificent.   the staff always addressed you by name everywhere you went, every wish your command, variety of restaurants,    i cannot find anything negative to say.   take the stingray/shark snorkeling trip.   wonderful.  the 4x4 trip was great also with a stop at this restaurant for lunch.   the spa, although beautifully set and a must see, massage was just ok.  DO NOT HESITATE to stay here.  hated to leave.

Travel Review: Luxury Tahiti Wedding Anniversary Trip, Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, Catamaran Sunset Cruise, Sailing, Jeep Tour

I typically don't write reviews; however, for our travel specialist and the travel company, I am making an exception. Our trip to FP was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I wanted it to be the trip of a lifetime and it surpassed our expectations. Our travel specialist listened to our interests: we wanted to have the classic overwater bungalow experience, but, we also wanted to be on a boat as well as we met sailing and bareboat charter as a family. Our travel specialist put together the itinerary we were looking for: Four night on Moorea, three nights on the motor yacht ship, four nights on Bora Bora. We had also asked to do a couple of land based activities as well. We arrived in Tahiti after a long day of travel, and were taken to the hotel for an overnight. In the morning, we were taken to the ferry dock for our transfer to Moorea. On arrival we were taken to the hotel in Moorea. On Moorea our travel specialist booked a catamaran sunset cruise for two. Wonderful. She also booked a jeep tour. Some other guests said their tour was 'okay' (the drive didn't speak English). Our tour was really a pleasant surprise. The driver was excellent (played the ukule and sang). On day 4 we were transferred to the airport for a quick flight to Raiatea and were transferred to the harbor for our cruise on the ship. The cruise was incredible. There were twenty guests taken care of by a thirteen member crew. We had a breakfast on a beach. A lunch of the beach. As they were aware of our anniversary (and my wife's birthday) we had a private dinner every night at a different location on the boat. One night they serenaded us and presented an anniversary dessert. I can't say enough about how well we were treated. the ship cruised over to Bora Bora where we were dropped off. The captain of our private water taxi was waiting. He was in dress whites and the 30' boat felt very 'James Bond' like. It was fun to be whisked away to the hotel in Bora Bora this way! The hotel staff were excellent. The hotel food and service hit the mark. After our four days (including shark and stringray tour) it was time to head home. Again, thank you to our travel specialist for a spectacular trip!
