We traveled to Iceland at the end of March through the beginning of April for my 40th birthday with my 65-year-old parents, six adults ages 30-45, and four children ages 2-9. I knew it would be quite the challenge to make everyone happy and find accommodations and activities that worked for most people. When I first spoke with Jonathan from the travel agency, I knew he was the guy for us. He lives in Reykjavik and knew the island country very well. He made it sound easy (although I'm sure it wasn't) to find accommodations that would work for both couples and families with children, and my parents who are a bit more particular with their room sizes. He recommended a number of activities for all ages and a few for just adults, which was welcome. He was responsive and on top of everything. The guide he found to travel with us was AMAZING and really made our trip! He even booked restaurant reservations for us and helped us with some pre-set menus. There were just a few small snafus that were easily worked out - it was so nice for me to not have to worry about anything while we were there. I highly, highly recommend this travel agency.

Andres from the travel agency did an excellent job on the itinerary based on what we wanted to see and do. He presented an itinerary within a couple of days of our request to Zicasso and we were able to sort out the details easily. We requested a female guide that would work well with a mom (60ish) and daughter (30ish) and our guide was perfect--knowledgeable, flexible, very nice and personable. When we had to cancel plans due to weather she worked with Andres to find other things to do that were enjoyable and we didn't feel like we missed out on anything.

The trip was everything I'd hoped it would be, and more. Iceland was definitely the star of the show, and the itinerary that this travel company, specifically Arnar, put together for us enabled to see as much of Iceland as I wanted to see. Plus, we were able to pack in plenty of sights and adventures without having to go at an exhausting pace. By far the best service Arnar provided was to hook us up with our driver and guide. Our guide clearly listened to us from the beginning to the end of the trip, tailoring activities and sightseeing choices to our interests and abilities. We felt completely confident in his hands, but more than that, he was a lot of fun to travel with. We will definitely remember Iceland and our guide both very fondly.

Overall we had a great trip and accomplished our goal of seeing the Northern Lights, thanks to a cooperative clear night sky on one day. Bernhard was very helpful at the onset of recommending we spend a shorter amount of time on our trip in winter and return during the summer to see Scandinavia in its full colors.Communications could have been better by confirming that the client has received critical information. We also were presented with change options within two weeks of our departure, which was concerning. Also, it seemed that many of the experiences recommended to us in Norway were unfamiliar to the travel company. Additionally, when we were in country there were questions as to what experience had actually been booked, versus what was presented to us--again, just more clarity and descriptions of the activities would be helpful.Just to reiterate, we had a very memorable trip, enjoyed all of the activities and glad for Bernhard's recommendation to shorten our winter stay!

This was a fabulous trip that exceeded our expectations. Kjartan and Tobba came up with the perfect itinerary and tweaked it based on our discussions. We spent 7 days in Iceland mainly touring the western and southern parts of the island. Iceland is a magical place, unique in its geography with glaciers, volcanic terrain, geysers and waterfalls. I think the primary reason we enjoyed our trip so much is that our guide was perfect. He shared his extensive knowledge of the places we visited and we gained insights into the Icelandic people and culture through his stories. He was charming, entertaining and always punctual which we appreciated. We are a group of 4 seniors (two couples) and had a van at our disposal for the entire trip.I recommend this travel company wholeheartedly. This was the perfect trip.

I had the pleasure of having Harpa as my travel specialist. This was my very first international trip that I did solo. I was extremely happy with having Harpa's knowledge of Iceland. She designed the perfect trip. I explained to her my interests and things I wanted to do. Harpa was very attentive to all my questions and concerns. I really appreciated Harpa checking in on me while I was there. I couldn't of done this trip without Harpa.

A+, A+, A+ Back in 2013, my husband and I had visited Iceland during a North Atlantic Cruise. It was interesting, but just a little above OK. This tour that was arranged by our travel agency was amazing! We saw a different side of Iceland and would say this was the best tour we’ve ever had of any country we’ve visited and we’ve visited quite a few around the world. The owner, Andrés, did an outstanding job of arranging everything in our tour from beginning to end, we did nothing but enjoy our travels around Iceland. When the itinerary arrived, there were a couple of events on the schedule that my husband and I questioned, like going to the Blue Lagoon upon arrival or taking the Icelandic Food Walk in Reykjavik the next day. After experiencing those two events, we are so pleased he added them to our schedule. Andrés knows his business and how to take care of the clients. The guide that Andrés chose for us was Röggi. His driving skills were phenomenal and his knowledge of Iceland made the trip! He has a good sense of humor and bantering with him made the trip very relaxing….like traveling with a friend. One event I would like to mention - I had wanted to see the Diamond Beach, but due to weather conditions there would have been little to no iceberg particles on the beach. Knowing that was on our list as a want-to-see place, our guide went out and found a small iceberg while we were in the ice cave. I thought he was joking when he said he had an iceberg in the back of the van, but that man drove us to a small black sand beach and produced the “iceberg” from the back. He then put it on the beach for us to photograph! Oddly enough a bus load of tourist arrived and seeing us photographing the “iceberg” they all rushed to take pictures of it also…..meanwhile the local seals were frolicking in the surf and were totally ignoring the bus tourists, because they were too busy photographing the small transplanted chunk of ice. He was great!
